Overview: 

Safety professionals partner with the business to provide support for a broad range of health and safety programs, including the company's Zero Harm philosophy.

Responsibilities: 
  • Ensure operations are in compliance with provincial, state, federal and company safety policies, rules and regulations
  • Provide ongoing safety support and guidance to managers and employees
  • Develop and implement health and safety programs throughout the Canada Region
  • Monitor and proactively report safety performance
Education/Experience: 
  • Construction Safety Officer and/or Canadian Registered Safety Professional (Canada), or
  • Associated Safety Professional; Certified Safety Professional (US)
  • Health and safety experience in an industrial or construction environment
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing safety programs
